
Edem, a celebrated Rapper and hiplife Artiste has said fathers were irreplaceable and asked society to help men live responsibly.
“When there’s no mother at home, we get a nanny but fathers are irreplaceable,” he said in a Father’s Day message through the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Denu.
He said fathers had many untold stories and called for conscious efforts to celebrate them “more”.
Madam Catherine Afeku, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, on the side-lines of “open defecation free” campaign at beaches in the Volta region said fathers were ‘killing’ themselves to put food on the table for families and must be appreciated.
She advised fathers to institute “family time out” and release stress.
