The Global Ambassadors Production (GAP)-Huz, an event management house in the Western Region, will hold the third edition of its fashion show in Takoradi.
The event, billed for Saturday, November 10 at the luxurious Raybow hotel in the beach road area of the Metropolis, would showcase designs and art work by indigenous Ghanaian fashionists and creators across all the regions of the country.
The third edition of the show is dubbed “Corporate Fashion Show”.
Mr Nathaniel Kwesi Mawusi Aguiar, the Executive Director of GAP Huz told the GNA that the introduction of the concept, three years ago, was to revive and support the young talents in the arts and culture industry in the Western Region and beyond.
He said Ghanaian arts and culture industry have a lot to offer in terms of employment and entrepreneurial skills and therefore encouraged fashion designers and artists to give off their best to be able to compete nationally and globally.
Fun lovers as well as those with niche for African designs and artwork would be thrilled with works from designers, models, spoken words, music, live performances, accessories display, live bidding of designs, exhibition among others.
Mr Aguair said there would also be draping and runway show of collections from designers across the country such as dress up, Nicoline GH, KDV, LJ Couture and Lakopue among others.
Mr Ian Quachi and Danny Arthur would perform at the event under the theme: ” Showcasing and Identifying Ideal Outfit for a Corporate Personality”.
Mr Aguair said “We are hoping to bring all corporate bodies together as well as designers, models, photographers and fashion lovers on a single platform to network, learn and have fun admst glitz and style.
