A road crash involving two buses at Asuboi, a suburb of Suhum, on Wednesday morning, has claimed 10 lives.
The crash occurred on the main Accra Kumasi Highway.
Personnel of the National Ambulance service indicated to Citi News that there were 32 survivors from the crash.
Some of the survivors are said to be in critical condition.
Doctors at the Suhum Government Hospital are making arrangements to refer some of the injured to the Koforidua Regional Hospital.
This incident adds to the growing number of accidents in the year 2018.
The National Road Safety Commission earlier revealed that over 300 people lost their lives in road accidents in the first two months of 2018.
The Commission also stated that over 2,000 road crashes were recorded in first two months, representing a significant rise from the same period in 2017.
