AfroFuture Festival 2023: Diasporans On Ghana’s Hottest Festival
The AfroFuture festival, formerly Afrochella has organised yet another hottest event in Ghana bringing in revelers from across the globe
The two day event saw hundreds of diasporans in the motherland for the event.
AfroFuture is a celebration of Africa’s diverse culture and the vibrant work of African creatives and entrepreneurs.
The festival highlights the thrilling and thriving millennial talent in Africa. Attendees experienced art and creative activations from the continent, celebrated African music, and tasted premium and cultured cuisine.
Artists for this year’s festival include Davido, Black Sherif, Samini, Efya, Crayon, Adekunle Gold, R2Bees, Camidoh and more.
There were food vendors and clothing stores with different made in Ghana products. In an interview with some of the diasporans, they expressed their excitement in Ghana for this year’s festival.
Bobby from the United States said, “It has been beautiful, the friendliness, food and the amazing people are amazing!”
Stacey from the United States said, it was her first time in Ghana and to the Afrofuture festival and it has been a breathtaking experience.
“My experience in Ghana has been breathtaking and has made me so humble and grateful”.
Stacey also said music brings love and unity among us and AfroFuture is making this platform to communicate this unity to us.
Diana also from the United States expressd the joyfulness of being in Ghana for the AfroFuture and expressed how enjoyable the festival has been.
David also from the United States said, “I love Ghana, the music is perfect, the food is perfect and the people are perfect”. David is loving the vibrant of AfroFuture festival and hope to return for next year festival.
AfroFuture has not only brought diasporans to the motherland for the festival but has also contributed to the tourism industry in Ghana as well as educational support through the AfroFuture foundation.
Africa is rising and the future of Africa is bright and AfroFuture is leading the course of showing the positive impact the continent has for the youth.
