Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi allayed fears of a break up with his Italian fiancé Chantal Grazioli by throwing her a grand reception during her arrival from Italy on Monday, December 3.
And as it has been his norm to publicly display his affection, the comedian mounted a guard of honour for Chantel when she landed.
Eric brought business to a standstill at the the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) with a marching band to welcome his fiancé.
Chantal was in Italy for slightly over four months.
Eric waited for her outside the international arrivals terminal with a band that played music as she made her way to a waiting car.
With a bouquet of flowers, Omondi walked towards a smiling Chantal before hugging, kissing and gifting her the flowers.
The two were then escorted by a convoy of branded vehicles sponsored by Bonfire Adventures. The CEO of Bonfire Adventures Simon Kabu was also in attendance.
There have been reports that Eric and his Chantal are set to wed next year, but the comedian dismissed the claims by stating that they are already married.
The love birds have been together for over two years now.
It is not the first time the comedian has gone all out for his fiancée. Last year after her arrival at the JKIA terminal, he surprised her by breaking into an energetic dance with FBI dancers.
He also mounted a giant billboard at the airport bearing her photo to welcome her back.
The two had not been seen together in public for over six months feeding speculation that their relationship was on the rocks.
But in an interview with Pulse, Omondi said all was well with their relationship and chided some sections of the media for misleading the public.
