Away from all the controversies and trolling after the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA’s), held recently to a brighter side of the event.
Controversies and trolls have always been a recurrent feature of the awards and so it was more than expected.
Now, best moments of the show are where I am shifting to.
Two Ghanaian musicians Efya and Adina rocked kente like we have never seen before. More often than not the prestige and the price of kente have limited many women to opt for Kaba and Slit. However, the duo decided to bend the rules and come out creative with their distinct kente styles.
While Efya donned her kente in a short embellished prom dress with a long black boot to match, Adina on the other hand flowed in a spectacular flowing kente gown that matched her perfect dyed hair cut.
While the night was meant to celebrate Ghanaian music and talents, they went the extra mile to promote Ghana’s unique kente.
