Some Ghanaians have fired at Ghanaian professional Fashion designer Elikem Kumordzie for selling his locally made cloth “Ankara” face mask for GH 85.
Some of Elikem’s followers are unhappy about the prices the designer is selling his nose mask looking at the crises we find ourselves In. Most have described the price of his nose mask as outrageous. They have therefore decided to descend on him for doing what they consider as wickedness.
During the 7th Nation’s address by the president, he stated that it was mandatory for everyone to put on the face mask to protect themselves from the COVID-19. This made a lot of Ghanaians use the locally made cloth to manufacture different types of face mask for use.
The nose mask spotted on Elikem’s Instagram page has been woven with a piece of Kente and sold at Ghc85.
According to his description, it is breathable, has got an adjustable nose rod and an open vent to insert filter pad.
