Thailand’s Suchata Chuangsri crowned Miss World 2025 in India

Thailand’s Suchata Chuangsri has been crowned Miss World 2025 at the 72nd edition of the global beauty pageant held in Hyderabad, India, on Saturday, May 31.

The event took place at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Telangana’s capital city, drawing 108 contestants from around the world.

Chuangsri emerged victorious, receiving the coveted crown from last year’s winner, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic.

Hasset Dereje Admassu of Ethiopia finished as the first runner-up, while India’s representative, Nandini Gupta, exited the competition after making it into the top 20.

The grand event was co-hosted by Miss World 2016 Stephanie del Valle and Indian presenter Sachiin Kumbhar.

This marks the second consecutive year India has hosted the international pageant.
