Vlisco Unveils ‘Colour Of Love’ Collection In Honour Of Mums
Vlisco Group has dropped a sizzling new fabric line bursting with colour and heart—aptly titled “Colour of Love”—and it’s all for the queens we call Mum.
The launch, held at Vlisco’s flagship store inside Accra Mall, was more than just a fashion affair—it was a glowing tribute to motherhood, celebrating the grit, warmth and endless love that mums across the continent dish out daily.
Known for its bold African wax prints, the Dutch-rooted, Africa-powered textile giant caters to West and Central Africa and the diaspora sprinkled across the globe.
Speaking at the launch, Deborah Sowah, Brand and Customer Experience Manager at Vlisco Ghana, called the collection a love letter to mothers everywhere.
Mothers show the kind of love that never quits, even when life gets tough. This collection is our way of honouring their strength, their daily sacrifices, and their unwavering love,” she shared.
The fabrics are nothing short of a visual hug—think deep ocean blues for serenity, sunshine yellows for cheer, and leafy greens for growth and rebirth. It’s wearable emotion stitched into every pattern.
And yes, the release was perfectly timed. Dropping days before Mother’s Day, the collection slots into Vlisco’s year-round push to celebrate women through themed drops that speak to the moments that matter.
“We recently had a Women’s Month collection, and now this. We stay in tune with what our customers care about,” Sowah noted.
Vlisco keeps things fresh by launching new collections four times a year. In other words, blink and you might miss your favourite print.
“Innovation drives us. What’s here today may be gone tomorrow. You can shop the new line at our Accra Mall store, Woodin boutiques nationwide, or simply order online for doorstep delivery,” she added.
So whether it’s for Mum, Auntie, Grandma—or just a bit of self-love—Vlisco’s latest drop is painting the town with the colours of love.
