A 55-year-old Agatha Tiwaa has allegedly butchered her elder sister at Mantukwa in the Berekum West district of the Bono Region.
Yaa Aworo, the deceased was at the farm when her younger sister came and assaulted her to death.
An eyewitness, Hinneh Kwasi in an interview with Adom News revealed that he was returning home from farm when the suspect informed him that she had just fought with her sister.
Agatha also said she had hit her sister so she was in comma.
Upon hearing this, Hinneh said he went to the scene where he discovered that Yaa Aworo was not in comma but has died.
He further admitted that the relatives have not been on good terms for a while now.
According to him, series of fights have ensued between the duo over a piece of land and that could be the reason for the unfortunate incident.
Granddaughter of the deceased, Gifty Agyeiwaa called for the suspect to be arrested and jailed for life.
