COVI-19: Kokomba Yam Traders Donate 1000 Tubers Of Yam To The Vulnerable

As part of helping the vulnerable during the lockdown in Accra, Kokomba Yam Producers Marketing Society has donated a thousand (1000) tubers of yam to government to cater for them.

According to the Yam producers they are grateful to Government for the support given to the vulnerable especially during the lockdown period. They added that their society will in addition donate tubers of yam to the needy and vulnerable in addition to the 1000 tubers of yams donated.

Executives of the Yam Market Society, Anthony Tanya and Lanjor Daniel commended government for the car it is giving the vulnerable during this hard times.

Mr. Anthony Tanyam and Mr. Lanjor Daniel executives of the Yam Market presented the tubers of yam to the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon Cynthia Mamle Morrison on behalf of the Konkomba Yam market.

The Minister expressed gratitude to them and all others who have supported Government during the Corona Virus pandemic.
